1. Who We Are

Note the Recipe (“we,” “our,” “us”) runs the website notetherecipe.com (the “Site”). We show ads, use analytics, and take part in affiliate programs to keep the Site free for readers.

We do not knowingly collect names, postal addresses, payment details, or data from anyone under 13 (see § 10, “Children”).

8. Data Retention & Security

We keep analytics and ad-log data for up to 26 months, or longer if required for tax, audit, or fraud-prevention reasons. We rely on reputable hosting and encryption (HTTPS) to protect traffic in transit. No method is 100 % fool-proof, but we work hard to guard your data.

9. International Transfers

Our servers are in the United States. When you visit from outside the U.S., your information travels to—and is processed in—the U.S. where data protection standards may differ from yours. We rely on contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for EU transfers.

The Site is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we have collected a child’s personal information, we will delete it promptly (COPPA compliance).

11. “Do Not Track”

Modern browsers offer a “DNT” signal. Because no common standard exists, we currently do not respond to DNT, but you can use the tools in § 3 and § 6 to limit tracking.
